If I wanted to start submitting my art work to galleries and museums, what would be the best way to go about that? How would I submit my work? What are some of the best ways to creat a portfolio? Any help on the subject would be wonderful, thanks.

Some people claim that public museums and art galleries will not be needed because people can see historical objects and works by using computer. Do you agree or disagree? why?

I'm having my first art show next month of my oil paintings and would like to publicize it to art galleries. Aside from the publicity flyer, should I also send them the 'Artist Statement' and a press release? Or would those be unnecessary information for them?

I'm doing a group project in my art class. We have to choose an art community, visit art galleries, museums or centers. Pick an art work and interview the artist or the person who is exhibiting the art work about the art piece. I know about the hyde park art center but I'm not familiar with any art galleries. Can somebody help me?
